It’s an exciting time at Scott Direct as the team has been working hard on a number of internal initiatives to improve the outward service to customers – including expansion and re-organisation of the warehouse, supplier consolidation and a continual focus on bringing the best products, knowledge and advice to the table when it comes to safety, workwear and tools.
A number of key new appointments have been made to support the business to reach the next level, and we are delighted to introduce some very experienced additions to the team; Des Ely as Head of Sales, Liz Reid as our Service Centre Co-ordinator, Fraser Wallace as Business Development Manager North, Steve Holmes as Business Development Manager South; and Chris Morris as Account Manager for the North of England.
These new appointments not only add additional capacity to our existing team, but also an increased knowledge base, and further NEBOSH qualified personnel, who are well placed to engage with our customers and provide industry advice and guidance as well as product know-how.

Increasingly we are working with clients in the oil and gas industry and there are plans to expand our offering in the North East of Scotland.
