Introducing the Pallet Loop™

The circular economy pallet re-use scheme for the UK construction sector that’s different by design. Incentivising pallet returns, we provide the construction industry with a simple, circular approach to pallet use that’s greener, leaner and more cost effective.

THE BENEFITS

Greener

Saving millions of trees and preserving precious timber resource.

Leaner

An efficient collection service that can help reduce site waste and cut costs.

Stronger

Pallets engineered to last longer & work harder.

Safer

Robust pallet specifications, proven to perform better in load & lift.

HOW LOOP WORKS

Using the principles of circular economics, we’ve created a simple way for the UK construction industry to cut its consumption of timber for pallet production, reduce waste and improve its sustainability credentials. Central to our approach is:

icon pallet

A range of distinctive green, 100% certified pallets engineered to last and be used again and again.

icon pound

A simple, service-oriented model that replaces the traditional sale of single use pallets.

icon pallet

Pallets produced by industry leading manufacturing facilities.

icon uk

A network of collection sites nationwide.

icon lorry

A dedicated fleet of vehicles picking up pallets.

icon time

A 72-hour collection service for green LOOP and white pallets.

icon tools

A nationwide network of repair hubs.

STANDARDISED SPECIFICATION

There are currently more than 1500+ different pallet specifications in circulation throughout the UK construction industry. To simplify matters, we’ve created eight standardised pallet designs that all follow the same design principles – making them easier and safer to stack.

BE PART OF THE CHANGE

Up to 10% of the construction waste stream is pallets. This is costly from a financial and an environmental perspective. Widespread adoption of The Pallet LOOP across the construction sector will greatly reduce the burden that pallet production currently places on the environment and on our forests – achieving up to 40% less CO2 emissions* and an estimated up to 75% reduction in timber usage.
