Stitched up at Seahawk

We’ve invested in two new Tajima embroidery machines at Seahawk, our specialist workwear and protective clothing manufacturer.

A highly efficient eight-head machine and a single-head high-performance machine have been added to the fleet ensuring a wide range of both large and small items of various material types and thicknesses can be embroidered.

Samantha Carr, Production Supervisor at Seahawk, said: “These new machines are a fantastic addition to our UK manufacturing facility. They bring a wide range of benefits with a particular focus on efficiency including digital display and design input for faster changeovers, higher speed stitching, and consistently high quality of embroidery, as well as far less downtime which is welcomed by our brilliant embroidery machinists!”

The new machines are fully networked with a barcode reading function and pulse software for in-house digitisation.

Whilst onsite for the installation of the new machinery, the engineering team also overhauled and rebuilt the existing Tajima which has ensured that is performing at maximum capacity.
