We have just taken delivery of 70 new and improved Linde 392 EVO forklifts. These vehicles will operate throughout our UK site network, from Pallet Logistics in Aberdeen to HLC in Norwich and Scott Pallets in Barry.
During the course of the vehicle lease period, we expect to see a 30% decrease in carbon emissions, as well as a decrease in other pollutants, and a significant and already proven saving on fuel compared to our previous fleet.
John Graham, Senior Buyer at Scott Group, said: “In addition to offering attractive environmental savings, the new Linde account management process provides us with excellent vehicle reporting, such as vehicle uptime, hours worked, servicing schedule and UK-wide breakdown service. All of this data can then be fed back into our plans for continuous improvement.”
Scott Group will also benefit from Linde’s single dedicated helpdesk number for all sites to use for servicing and breakdowns, ensuring downtime is minimised, and sites maintain efficiency wherever possible.
