Lights, Camera, Action for Scott Pallets in Barry

Scott Pallets in Barry was recently pushed into the spotlight when the BBC arrived on-site to film the award winning BBC Three’s supernatural drama, Being Human.

Filming company TouchPaper Wales, which are commissioned by the BBC to film the forth series of Being Human, were on-site with a full film crew and actor Michael Socha filming scenes of the towering pallets for series four which airs in January 2012 on BBC Three.

Dean Mason, Regional General Manager at Scott Pallets said, “Scott Pallets is always dedicated to helping our customers find the best pallet solution, in this case it was a somewhat different request! We’re glad we could be off assistance to the BBC and will look forward to viewing our site on screen at the beginning of next year”.

Scott Pallets has been operating in Barry for eight years, since the acquisition of Combine Pallets in 2003 and boasts a workforce of fifty members of staff producing over thirty thousand pallets per week. The site occupies 350,000 square feet, 150,000 square feet of manufacturing facility and 250,000 square feet of storage.
