Maintenance Engineer – Nightshift

The opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Engineer to join our manufacturing business.

Reporting to the Maintenance Team Leader, this role will be responsible for the maintenance, repair and planned preventative maintenance of plant equipment.

You will manage the stock control of critical spares to minimise production downtime and respond to breakdowns in a timely manner diagnosing faults as well as making recommendations for plant improvements.  You will plan the scheduling of regular maintenance on key plant and equipment and record all works undertaken.

As an experienced Maintenance Engineer you will demonstrate high levels of Health and Safety awareness as well as excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. You should have sound experience in mechanical engineering, pneumatic and hydraulic systems as well as preventative maintenance.  Experience within a high volume manufacturing business and presenting a problem solving can do attitude will be key to success.
