The opportunity has arisen for an experienced Insurance and Risk Controller to join our manufacturing business.
Reporting to the Compliance Director, this role will manage the day to day risk / insurance activities across the group, coordinating and managing all insurance claims. Lead the business Risk Management process and support key business improvement initiatives to minimise the organisations risk profile.
You will lead manage insurance claims from point of submission right through to being processed including investigations where required, liaising with relevant stakeholders and insurance companies. In order to reduce company risks you will implement and co-ordinate risk registers and any investigation recommendations as well as supporting managers in the implementation. You will also be responsible for periodic audits across the business to ensure compliance of changes with a view to implementing any improvement initiatives in order to work towards insurance targets.
As an experienced Insurance and Risk Controller you should have sound knowledge of the insurance and claims market and ideally experience within a multi-site company of managing business risks along with an understanding of Health & Safety legislation.
