Job Title: General Operative

Hours of Work: 14:00-22:00
Working Days: Monday – Friday
Salary: Starting at £9.00 per hour

The opportunity has arisen for a General Operative to join our manufacturing new pallet business.
Reporting to the Production Supervisor this role, this role will be responsible for the accurate restoration of pallets and wood products whilst working to detailed specifications.
You will work effectively as part of a team to maintain high levels of output during each shift, whilst ensuring that Health and Safety Procedures and Quality Standards are adhered to at all times.
As a General Operative you will demonstrate effective communications and attention to detail. You will strive to constantly meet order demands whilst improving efficiencies and drive down waste.
This role is physically demanding, with the use of industrial nail guns and heavy lifting involved. Due to the nature of this role, some outside work is required to sort and distribute pallets within the yard. A positive can do attitude is key to success.
