Finance Business Partner


The Scott Group is a high growth, leading industrial supplies organisation which provides a wide range of goods and services to industrial and manufacturing markets. An excellent opportunity has arisen within our Manufacturing Finance team for an experienced Finance Business Partner, immediate start available and interim candidates would be welcomed to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for the multiple of sites within the manufacturing business unit
Report & present the results to the Regional Director & Financial Controller
Challenge the site managers to make efficiency savings at each site
Develop and produce costings information for product profitability and customer profitability
Produce KPI’s to generate discussion on site performance
Prepare the half yearly reforecast
Prepare the annual budget
Prepare management accounts for multiple sites to agreed deadlines.
Summarise & present the management accounts from multiple sites to give an overview to Finance and non-Financial managers.
Manage working capital requirements of the region.
Periodic reconciliation of key balance sheet accounts.
Provide information for the annual audit and assist with all audit queries relating to the region
Assist the sites to manage the internal controls, processes and procedures to ensure standard and consistent results
Implement and deliver improved all round performance, management information and support corporate goals.
Support site management needs with regular site visits as required
Develop relationships with key stakeholders across the business.
Able to problem solve and implement change to deliver key business goals.

Performance Measures:

Period end accurately reported and delivered on time.
Budget and reforecasts produced to agreed deadlines
Comprehensive reporting presented to senior management to give clear & concise commentary on the regional performance
Improved profits margins across the region, achieved by providing support to the sites as required by management whilst also driving change and improvements


Able to deal with some of the more technical areas with auditors and tax requirements
Experience of working under pressure and to tight deadlines

Technical – Qualifications/Key skills

Ideally Qualified/Part-Qualified accountant in ACCA or CIMA, otherwise QBE
Have experience of working with an ERP system.
Strong Excel skills.
