Engineering Administrator

We are recruiting for an engineering coordinator/administrator. To work in a busy manufacturing factory in Ellesmere Port.

The Role

Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, You will be responsible for the following;

  • The set-up of new starters and organising inductions
  • Monitoring workforce hours and submissions of time sheets
  • Assisting in organising meetings and managing the Manufacturing manager’s diary, liaising with contractors, sending, receiving and actioning emails, and answering phones.
  • Providing ad-hoc administrative support to the Senior Staff members onsite
  • Ensuring the maintenance team have the correct parts at all times (ordering parts from suppliers if need be)
  • Checking in and arranging any external contractors on site
  • Completing any admin work required
  • Filling out the maintenance breakdown report as instructed by the engineering teams, to keep the senior management team informed.
  • Collating and presenting production figures and analysing downtime
  • Working with the SHEQ team to ensure site compliance

The JOB

  • Monday-Friday, 08:00-17:00 hours.

YOU:

  • Experience working in an admin position within engineering
  • Capable of working under pressure and willingness to learn new tasks as required
  • Good health and safety knowledge
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft word, PowerPoint & Excel.
  • Kaizen and CI experience highly desirable
  • Available to start asap
