Robert assumed his role of Group Board Director in September 2011, following the Group's restructure earlier that year.

Robert is a solicitor qualified in both Scotland and England/Wales, and joined the business from Edinburgh based law firm Anderson Strathern LLP, where he was a partner in the Corporate Department. Whilst there, he acted for the Group for a number of years prior to taking up his current position.

Robert has broad experience in dealing with high profile and high value corporate, property and development transactions both in the private and public sectors. His current role at the Scott Group spans across all divisions with a primary focus on corporate and contractual matters, property, funding arrangements and acquisition activities.  His wealth of legal and commercial expertise is instrumental in shaping the business to further expand and grow each division in line with the Scott Group's ambitious strategy.
