Alan's background spans an extensive career in various industrial sectors including roles at the General Electric Company and the John Waddington Group. Latterly at Marlaw Group, where Alan was Managing Director, he oversaw the sale of the business to the Scott Group in 2007.

His current Managing Director role at Scott Group spans both Scott Pallets and Scott Packaging, where his track record in achieving impressive business growth plays a pivotal role in ensuring these core business areas have a solid platform for achieving future development, both organically and through acquisition.

Alan also drives excellence through these businesses by leading a programme of investment in the best manufacturing technology and in the development of people.
